Voices 4 Autism Parent Support Group are a group of parents with a strong desire to band together and be a united voice to represent individuals with autism spectrum disorder and spread awareness.
ABOUT VOICES 4 AUTISM
Our mission is to connect families within the community and provide information and support to parents of children with autism spectrum disorder.
Voices 4 Autism (Natchitoches) was founded in January of 2019 by Lela Harvey and her son Johnathan. Miss Lela has a passion for working within the community, advocacy, and the family has had their own personal experiences with challenges and obstacles facing those with autism spectrum disorder that have led them to founding Voices 4 Autism. Lela recognized that there was no support group in Natchitoches for families with autistic children and decided that she was going to make the change that she wanted to see.
Voices 4 Autism (Natchitoches) has worked with several people, businesses, and organizations within the Natchitoches community and beyond including:

WALK ON WHEELS 4 AUTISM awareness
Walk on Wheels 4 Autism Awareness is an annual event hosted by Voices 4 Autism every April, which is Autism Awareness Month. This event is held to bring awareness to autism spectrum disorder within the local community and to support those who have autism spectrum disorder and their families.
The Walk on Wheels event will be held on the first Saturday of April (April 1st, 2023). The event will begin in the big parking lot of the Natchitoches City Park. It starts at 10:00 am, however the lineup time is at 9:30 am.
EVENT RULES:
1. Valid Drives Licenses (For Driver’s)
2. Registration Fee: $25.00 per vehicle.
3. If you are going to decorate your vehicle onsite, do it between 7:00am-9:15am.
4. We will have a volunteer to bring a registration form to you, that has to be filled out and collect the $25.00 registration fee for anyone that doesn’t fill out the registration form online.
5. Every vehicle that wants to participation in our Walk on Wheels 4 Autism has to fill out a registration form and pay the fee. You must decorate your vehicle to show your support for Autism Awareness.
6. Lineup will be at 9:30am, Start at 10:00am. We will start on TIME
7. (Not a parade) Walk on Wheels meaning we are riding not Walking. If anyone has any questions or would like to volunteer just contact me at: 318-529-0638.
